Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This page explains how Crestline Money earns money, which links on aitoolcrestline.com may pay us, and what that does and does not change.
1. Who we are
Crestline Money is a UK personal finance information site for everyday household money. The site is operated from the United Kingdom and is written for readers in the UK (en-GB).
2. What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a web link to a third-party provider, such as a bank, savings platform, credit card provider or comparison service. If you click it and then take a product or service, the provider may pay us a commission. You pay the same price or rate you would pay without our link.
3. Where affiliate links may appear
Affiliate links may appear in:
- Written guides, such as articles about budgeting, emergency funds or credit scores
- Our tools pages, including the Budget planner, Loan / EMI calculator, Savings goal and Credit card payoff tool
- Product comparison tables and provider summaries
- Sidebars, footers and banners
We mark affiliate links clearly where they appear. Where a link is part of a comparison, we say so in the text near the link.
4. How we earn
We may earn commission when a reader:
- Opens an account, takes out a product or signs up for a service through an affiliate link
- Completes another action set out in the partner’s terms, such as a qualifying application
Commission rates and terms vary by partner. We do not receive commission for simply visiting our site.
5. How commission does not change our content
We aim to keep our editorial work independent of commercial relationships:
- We do not accept payment to say a product is good, or to hide its costs or limits.
- We explain fees, eligibility rules, interest rates and key conditions where we can find them from official or partner sources.
- We do not rank products by commission rate alone. Any order we show is stated in the page text, with the criteria used.
- If a partner relationship ends or a product changes, we aim to update or remove the relevant page or link.
If we cannot verify a detail, we say so, or we send you to the provider’s official site.
6. Our tools
Our calculators and planners give general illustrations based on the figures you enter. They are not a quote, offer or recommendation. Results depend on inputs that may change, including interest rates, fees and terms. Please check figures with your lender or provider before you decide.
The content on this site is general information, not personalised recommendations. See our Financial disclaimer for more.
7. Your choices
You do not have to use any affiliate link. You can:
- Search for the provider directly
- Compare alternatives on the provider’s own site or with a regulated comparison service
- Ask a qualified adviser about your own situation
8. Regulation and standards
We aim to follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code), as overseen by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). Where a product is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we aim to describe it accurately and to point you to official sources.
Where it helps you check protections, you can look up the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) at fscs.org.uk, and the FCA register at register.fca.org.uk.
9. Contact
If you have a question about a link, a commission or a page on this site, please contact us through the contact page on aitoolcrestline.com. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can.
10. Changes to this page
We may update this disclosure when our partners or our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
