About Crestline Money
Crestline Money offers calm, clear guidance for everyday household money. We write for UK adults who manage bills, savings and debt and want practical information without jargon.
What we do
- Plain-English guides on topics such as budgeting, building an emergency fund and understanding your credit score.
- Free tools to help you think through your own numbers:
- Budget planner: list your income and outgoings to see where your money goes each month.
- Loan / EMI calculator: estimate monthly repayments (EMI means equated monthly instalment, the fixed monthly payment on a loan).
- Savings goal: work out how much to set aside each month to reach a target by a chosen date.
- Credit card payoff: see how long a balance may take to clear at a given monthly payment.
- Explanations of common UK terms, such as ISAs (individual savings accounts), FSCS protection and credit reference agencies, the companies that hold credit file data about you.
Who this is for
We aim to help people who want to understand their options before they act. We do not know your full financial position, so our content is general information, not a recommendation for your circumstances.
How we earn money
Crestline Money may earn affiliate commission when you click some links to products or providers and then take up an offer. This does not change the figures in our tools or the content of our guides, and we do not accept payment to say a product is better than it is. Where a link is commercial, we aim to say so.
What we are not
- We are not a financial adviser, broker or lender.
- We do not provide regulated advice or personal recommendations.
- We do not guarantee any outcome, return or approval from any product or provider.
- We do not rank products as the best or number one for everyone.
General information only: the content on this site is for education. It is not personal guidance and does not take account of your circumstances, goals or attitude to risk.
Our approach
- We explain costs, limits and trade-offs, including where a product may not suit most people.
- We keep language calm and practical, with no hype or urgency.
- We encourage you to check official sources, such as GOV.UK, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) register and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) website, before making decisions.
Before you make a decision
If you are unsure about a financial product, speak to a regulated adviser or contact a free guidance service such as MoneyHelper. Check that any firm you use is authorised on the FCA register.
