Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Crestline Money wants everyone to be able to read our guides and use our tools, including our budget planner, loan and EMI calculator, savings goal planner and credit card payoff planner. This statement explains what we do, where we fall short, and how to get help.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which is the standard referred to in UK public sector and many private sector accessibility work. We design for plain English, clear headings, readable colour contrast, keyboard use and compatibility with common assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers.
2. What we do
- Use semantic headings and lists so content can be navigated with assistive technology.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Keep body text colour contrast in line with WCAG AA. Our text colour on our background is about 13.8:1, and our primary and secondary colours are used for text and buttons only where the contrast has been checked.
- Make all interactive elements, including calculator inputs and buttons, reachable and usable with a keyboard.
- Label form fields and show error messages in text, not only by colour.
- Write in plain British English and explain financial terms the first time they appear.
- Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second.
3. Known limitations
We know of the following gaps and are working on them. We will update this section when they change.
- Some older guides contain tables that are hard to read on small screens. We are converting these to simpler layouts.
- Some calculator results are presented as charts. Each chart has a written summary, but the chart itself may not be fully described by screen readers.
- Some third-party content, including links to providers and official government services, is outside our control. Those sites may have their own accessibility levels.
4. Testing
We review pages before publication using a mix of automated checks and manual checks, including keyboard-only navigation. We do not claim that our site is fully accessible or that it has been independently audited unless we publish that audit here.
5. Feedback and contact
If you find a barrier on this site, please tell us. Include:
- The page address (URL).
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened instead, and the device, browser and assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing that.
Send your feedback through the contact details on our contact page. We aim to reply within 10 working days. If you need the information in a different format, such as large print or an audio version, ask and we will look at what we can provide.
6. Enforcement procedure
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) or seek advice from your local Citizens Advice office. For matters about digital accessibility rules that apply to public sector bodies, the Equality and Human Rights Commission provides guidance.
7. Affiliate and third-party links
Crestline Money may earn affiliate commission when you apply for or buy certain products through links on our site. This does not change how we describe accessibility features on partner sites. Partner sites are responsible for their own accessibility.
8. Information and official sources
This page describes our accessibility approach. It is general information, not personal advice. For official guidance on accessibility standards, check the W3C and gov.uk websites.
